If you would like to know why I have accused Israel of being expansionist but really don't care to spend your time on the issue, just read the following paragraph from a recent U.N. report:
Israeli settlement construction in the
West Bank has taken place under every
government since the beginning of
Israel’s occupation following the 1967
Arab-Israeli War.2 In 2007, there are
more than 450,000 settlers living in 149
settlements in the West Bank including
East Jerusalem. Settling an occupied territory is illegal
under international law.
More than 38%
of West Bank territory is effectively offlimits
or restricted to Palestinians.
